The Alliant Build America Awards have always showcased the best of construction.
Now going into its third year, the Marvin M. Black Partnering Excellence category continues to recognize those projects best epitomizing the principles of partnering. This award is similar to the Marvin M. Black awards given out prior to 2014. Those looking to apply for this award should choose the Marvin M. Black Partnering Excellence application when starting a new entry. This competition has different questions and criteria than the rest of the Build America categories do, but is still considered a category of the Build America Awards.
To begin a new entry click on the New Entry tab above. Please note that you will be prompted to log in with your AGC username and password. If you don’t already have an online account with AGC, you can create an account by going to New Account in the top left corner of www.agc.org.
Once you log in on this application site, you will see the awards programs available to you. Company individual entrants will be able to start and complete Alliant Build America, Marvin M. Black Partnering Excellence, and AGC in the Community entries. Chapter staff will only be able to access and fill out AGC in the Community entries.
To edit or review an existing entry, click on the My Entries tab. You will see all entries started and saved with your account.
Please read our FAQ for more information on these competitions and the necessary criteria for each. All submissions must be filled out through our online system; we cannot accept any applications submitted through any other medium.
All entries for all competitions must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on Friday, October 30, 2015.

Award winners will be announced in March 2016 at AGC's 97th Annual Convention in San Antonio, TX. All applicants will be notified as to the status of their application(s) in January 2016.
